Footgolf Day FOOTYGOLF Open Championship
The inaugural 'FOOTYGOLF' tournament which took place at the Middlesbrough Municipal Golf club was not only a lesson of defiance against the typical British weather, but also a lesson by our members of a willingness to enjoy events like this, and not let simple little things like a sprinkling of rain stop them.

Another trip to Leeds to visit the fabulous Armoury. History in abundance showing all the weaponry used in so many different times. Imacculately displayed and beautifly presentented. This has to be one of the T.O.F.Y. clubs favourite venues and IT'S ALL FREE.

Although a slow start was made to the evening, with the aid of the refreshments on offer,and a top band named Arcadia,those who attended had a really enjoyable time,as comfirmed by the amount of people on the dance floor at the end of the night giving rapturess applause to the group,and especially the lead singer.

Jim Platt Thumb Platt Plays Blinder at the Boro Hotel
Jim Platt rolled the back the years as he gave members of Middlesbrough’s Tofy Club an insight into his years playing between the posts for the Boro. The Northern Ireland international talked about the managers and players that he played for and against during a star studded career. This would be the end of an era for the venue, the Longlands Hotel.

Founded in 1862 by 3 Lanes that all lived on Smith Street Stockton; William Lane described as a ‘Brass finisher’, John Lane a ‘Brass Moulder’ and James Lane a ‘Blacksmith’. The original Foundry was located on Middle Street, Stockton.
