Whitby 2017 Trip Another smashing day was enjoyed at Whitby by the increasingly popular T.O.F.Y. club.
A short trip over the North Yorkshire Moors saw them exploring the home of Shelly's creation,and as usual, after a visit to view the local attractions, like taking a look at how the kippers are smoked, and a jog up the steps, (for some), to view the iconic Abbey, (are there really ninety nine steps?) to a bracing walk along either of the two piers, followed by a usual fantastic fresh Whitby fish and chip lunch for others.Not into fish and chips?, try the pie and mash shop (Hmm! lovely.)
But one of the clubs most favourite attractions is the Fishermens club, a challenge to all members is to be able to find it. Those who can overcome the challenge are met with a very rewarding experience. (HIC!)
