The T.O.F.Y.club 'FOOTYGOLF' OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP.
The inaugural 'FOOTYGOLF' tournament which took place at the Middlesbrough Municipal Golf club was not only a lesson of defiance against the typical British weather, but also a lesson by our members of a willingness to enjoy events like this, and not let simple little things like a sprinkling of rain stop them.
With big broad smiles on their faces, the task of maneuvering their way around the nine hole course was very inspiring, especially as a number of the boys have had, at some point in their lives, very real physical health challenges. But this is what T.O.F.Y club members do.
So, with the score cards all running very close, who turned out to be the cream of the crop?
Let’s first go to the runners up, who received a Tesco voucher and bottle of bubbly, with scores of 35, tied were ... Tony Forrester and Dennis Chambers
So on to the winner.... Another very nice Tesco voucher and bottle of Bubbly... with a score of 33...
